What we collect, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

Account data: the email address attached to your Apple or Google sign-in. We do not ask for your name, phone number or address.

Training data: the sessions, sets, weights and reps, plus the food entries and body metrics you enter yourself. This is the log the app exists to keep.

Setup data: height, weight, age, activity level and goal, used to calculate your calorie target. You can edit or clear these at any time.

Technical data: crash reports and anonymous usage counts, so we know which screens break. These carry no training content.

What we never collect

We do not collect contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers. There are no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs embedded in the app.

How your data is used

To run the app: show your plan, carry loads forward, calculate targets and produce your charts.

To power the AI features, if you are on Premium: your log generates suggestions for you. It is not used to train third-party models and it is not pooled with other users’ data for that purpose.

To fix things: crash reports tell us what broke, never what you lifted.

Cookies and local storage

The app itself uses on-device storage to keep your log available offline. It does not use tracking cookies.

This website uses one essential cookie to remember your cookie choice, and nothing else unless you accept analytics. Analytics, if accepted, count page visits in aggregate. No cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.

Who else sees it

Apple and Google process your subscription and sign-in. We never see your payment details. Our hosting and crash-reporting providers process data strictly on our instructions.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We will only disclose data where the law requires it, and we will tell you unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Your rights

You can export your full log as CSV or JSON at any time from Settings, request a copy of everything we hold, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your account outright.

Deleting your account removes your training data from our systems within 30 days, aside from anything we are legally required to retain, such as transaction records.

Retention

Your log is kept while your account is open, because that is the point of it. Crash and usage data is kept for 12 months. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days.

Children

QuietGains is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we will delete any account we discover belongs to one.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change you will see a notice in the app before it takes effect, not a silently updated date at the top of a page.
